Chris Marquez

Chris decided to form National Capitol Captioning after 10 years as an entrepreneur and business strategy advisor. “I started NCC to bring a new, higher level of customer service to the captioning and transcription industries. We are committed to relationships that are 100% customer-needs focused.”

Chris received his MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the College of William and Mary.

Lorene Eberhardt

Lorene, Operations Manager for NCC, grew up in California and attended the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a B.A. in Literature/Writing and a minor in Political Science.  She taught high school English and History for two years, then moved to the DC area to be with her husband, Nathan.

When she’s not working, Lorene loves to watch (not necessarily play) sports, mostly the San Francisco Giants and UCLA Bruins, or read a good book.

Audrey Albright

Audrey Albright is a Junior Editor for NCC. Her previous experience includes gathering photos of far off places and editing/writing articles for the World and I Online, who consequently few people have heard of (but it does exist!)

While her head is often conquering unknown lands from before mentioned photos in her spare time, she does enjoy perusing some substantive materials, in almost any form, preferably well written. Her art degree from Virginia Tech and her passion for music and writing leads to other spare time explorations such as making a mess and contemplating the start up of a band or magazine, much to her hubby’s chagrin.

Benjamin Beeghly

Benjamin is a Junior Editor for NCC. While earning his BA from the University of Mary Washington, he majored in physics, and then psychology, and then Spanish, before finally settling on English. He honed his writing skills by editing the papers of his housemates many, many times.

Benjamin grew up in various exotic locales around the world (most notably India) and he currently lives in DC. He splits most of his free time between reading and playing video games, hoping to one day become either a renowned author or a paid button masher. He also watches a lot of cartoons.

Anne Kelly

Anne Kelly is a junior editor at National Capitol Captioning. She recently graduated with a degree in journalism from The Ohio State University where she learned the finer points of pulling all-nighters and keeping warm during November football games. She was an Arts writer and copy editor for Ohio State's student newspaper, The Lantern. Anne grew up in the sleepy Cincinnati suburbs, where she was forced to develop her imagination by daydreaming of life outside the culdesac. She likes living in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, DC, because it provides her ample opportunities to visit the National Zoo and gives her time to catch up on her reading on her commute to work in Arlington, Va.

Jennifer Rosenberg

Jennifer is a post production coordinator for NCC. Before getting into captioning, she worked in marketing and public relations at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and master’s degree in English.

Her favorite post production activity is timing the captions with the audio, because, as a fan of dance, it’s the only time she feels remotely coordinated. When not at work, Jennifer enjoys not being at work, road tripping, running, getting rid of stuff, untying knots for people, and playing with dogs, even if it makes her sneeze.
